Filippo Sciascia
Born in 1972, Filippo Sciascia Lives in Bali, Indonesia, and Florence, Italy. He studied art in Italy and the united states, and He has had exhibitions in various venues in Southeast Asia, Europe, and America. Sciascia examines light as a primary artistic medium in his works across painting and sculpture, video and installations. His “Lux Lumina” project deals with light regarding the human condition; therefore, the information of his future and the relationship of technology blending into the evolution of life itself. He is questioning science concerning Biology of nature itself and the influence in society to the present day. He “edits” objects and paintings, to arrange them together in a way to form a narrative equation of his artistic concepts.
