Angki Purbandono

Angki Purbandono was born in Kendal, Central Java, 1971. Graduated from Indonesian Institute of Art, Yogyakarta. Angki’s artworks using unusual method call ‘scanography’ which use scanner rather than a camera to capture object. The printed version of that image later will be exhibited using neon box installation. His work was first exhibited in “Festival Kesenian Yogyakarta IX” in 1997. His solo exhibition includes “KOLASMANIAC” in Centre Culturel Francais, Yogyakarta (1999); “Industrial Fiesta” in Changdong Art Studio, Seoul, South Korea (2006); Cemeti Art House, Yogyakarta (2007); "Kissing The Methods" in Richard Koh Fine Art, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2009); "Noodle Theory" in Garis Art, Jakarta (2010); and "TOP POP" di S. Bin. Art Plus Gallery, Singapura (2011).
